C      BLESSED ARE THOSE SERVANTS WHOM THE MASTER FINDS AWAKE.

P      Beloved, we are God's children now, and what we will be has not yet appeared; (1 John 3:2a)

C      BUT WE KNOW THAT WHEN HE APPEARS WE SHALL BE LIKE HIM, BECAUSE WE SHALL SEE HIM AS HE IS. (1 John 3:2b)

P      I am the Resurrection and the Life; those who believe in Me, even though they die, will live. (John 11:25)

C      AND EVERYONE WHO LIVES AND BELIEVES IN ME WILL NEVER DIE. (John 11:26)

P      The Lord be with you

C      AND ALSO WITH YOU.

P      Let us pray. Almighty God, You have knit Your people together in one communion in the mystical body of Your Son, Jesus Christ our Lord. Grant us grace to follow Your blessed saints in lives of faith and commitment, and to know the inexpressible joys You have prepared for those who love You, through Jesus Christ, our Savior and Lord, Who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and forever.
